The latest death rumor started circulating before he
traveled to Lebanon to complete filming his serial “Nagy Attalla’s Team.” Adel
Imam questioned the sources and the motives behind the rumors. He told a local
Egyptian daily newspaper that he had received many condolence letters and text
messages on his mobile phone. Imam said that he replied and sarcastically
thanked the senders for the messages. Imam refused to connect the delayed shoot
of the production to the death rumors.
