It said the Saudi boy was found at King Fahd Hospital in the holy city after an unidentified woman telephoned the family about his location.
Raiz disappeared Sunday night following a traffic accident, during which he sustained minor injuries, including a nose bleed.
A motorist, who was at the scene, offered to take the injured child to hospital while the father, Abdul Karim Muhammad Al-Qibli, was waiting for the traffic police to come.
On completing police procedures seven hours later, Al-Qibli could not find his son. He searched all hospitals in the city in vain. He claimed that none of the police stations he approached to inform about his missing son were willing to listen to him.
Raiz's grandfather Muhammad Al-Qibli said they received a telephone call from an unknown woman informing them that their kidnapped child was at King Fahd Hospital and was in good health.
He said Raiz's mother and uncle went to the hospital, where they found the child in good condition. The grandfather said the police were still investigating the case.
The unknown woman also made a telephone call to the newspaper and informed them that her psychologically unstable brother had kidnapped the child. She switched off her phone and could not be reached after that.
