Discussions took place between Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah and his Hungarian counterpart Dr. Miklos Szocska at the Health Ministry headquarters.
The two parties discussed how the two countries could cooperate with each other in the exchange of medical expertise and offer training for Saudi health officials in Hungary.
Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Khalid Al-Mirghalani said the Kingdom is exploring the possibility of importing pharmaceutical products from Hungary at a cheaper price so that people in the Kingdom could benefit. Szocska said there is a wide range of opportunities for the two countries to participate in the health sector.
“We have to work out modalities to harness the trade potentials for mutual interests," he said. The meeting concluded with the exchange of mementos between the two ministers. Senior officials from the Health Ministry were present during the discussions.
