The Directorate General of Health Affairs in Riyadh organized the event in cooperation with Alyamama hospital through an exhibition held recently at the Salam Mall in Riyadh.
During the exhibition, IPNC welcomed parents to discuss the nutrition for children between the ages of 1 and 3 years.
“Throughout their growth and development, children are exposed to various stimulations that help brain cells establish and strengthen communication with each other. Normal brain development is critical to learning. At this important stage, children require good nutrition as well as exposure to appropriate stimulation,” said IPNC General Manager and CEO Chuck Davin.
Its gold sponsorship of this campaign confirms its role in providing children with the best start in life, as well as communicating and interacting with the Saudi society through activities concerned with aspects of health care in the Kingdom, especially those associated with the health and nutrition of infants and children.
Almarai is in the process of building Saudi Arabia’s first infant formula and children’s milk manufacturing facility in Al-Kharj city, south of Riyadh, with a capital investment of over SR800 million. This advanced facility is managed by the IPNC team, which includes experts and specialists from both Mead Johnson and Almarai.
