Sarmad Zok, chairman and CEO of Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI), Kathleen Taylor, president and chief executive officer, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Fouad Makhlouf, vice-president, design and constructions, KHI and Christopher R. J. Knable, vice president, asset management, KHI, were also present.
The hotel has been constructed at a cost of $164 million and all 40 villas adjacent to the hotel have already been sold.
Prince Alwaleed also met with Tourism Minister Yasser Znagui.
After the inauguration ceremony, Prince Alwaleed and Moulay Rachid toured the presidential suites, royal villas and the ballroom.

The prince’s investments in Morocco through KHC in addition to the Four Seasons Hotel, Marrakesh, include other hotel investments under construction in Morocco that will be managed by companies in which KHC holds an interest.
The delegation, accompanying Prince Alwaleed, comprised Nahlah Alanbar, private executive assistant to Prince Alwaleed, Hassna Alturki, executive assistant manager, travel and external affairs Department., Hani Agha, senior manager, travel and external affairs department, and Hicham Fleihan, manager, travel and external affairs department.
