The teacher's body is currently at the morgue of King Faisal Hospital after autopsy. The family will receive the body for burial after the specialists have completed their report.
According to police, the teacher was stabbed to death during a fight last Friday evening on the ring road near Al-Noor Hospital.
Makkah police spokesman Lt. Col. Abdul Mohsen Al-Miman did not identify the suspect, but said he was caught a few hours after the crime and the crime weapon was found.
He said during the preliminary investigations, the suspect had confessed to the crime. "On completion of police investigations, the case file will be delivered to the PIC to finalize the list of charges against him to present in the court," he added.
An official source at the PIC said the confessions of the murderer would be authenticated at the court. "After this, the case will be submitted to the court for trial procedures," he said.
