The agreement came following a meeting here between Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Abdul Basit Al-Badri, an envoy of the Libyan interim President Mustafa Abdul Jalil.
Al-Badri was carrying a message from the interim president to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
During the meeting, Prince Saud congratulated the Libyan envoy on the formation of a new government in Tripoli. He also reiterated the Kingdom's support to the Libyan government and people.
The Kingdom recalled its ambassador to Libya during the civil war that began in February.
