Paperworld Middle East draws huge interest from exhibitors

German companies Lamy and Schneider, who were original launch partners for the inaugural edition of Paperworld Middle East, are once more among the first exhibitors to join the fore for the 2012 edition in Dubai. Both companies will be showcasing their range of high quality writing instruments.
Durable, long-term exhibitor in Frankfurt, has now also confirmed its presence for the Dubai show, with the intention of utilizing it as a platform to further explore the regional marketplace. As one of the leading manufacturers of office organization and presentation media worldwide, the 80-year-old Durable trade mark has been symbolic of high-class products for filing and sorting, clipping and binding, as well as in the fields of information and presentation.
Another German company, Sigel, winner of the reddot design award 2011 for its stylish Conceptum notebooks, will once again present its range of trendy business products in Dubai.
In addition, Messe Frankfurt is delighted to have recently received the news that the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology will fund an official German Pavilion for Paperworld Middle East 2012. This means that many more German exhibitors can be expected next March and augurs well for the long-term future of the show.
As well as German brands Lamy, Schneider and Sigel, many more companies will return for a second year running to the newly launched Paperworld in Dubai.
Austrian brand SAX, founders of the original paper clip (indispensable in every office) is among the returning companies, eager to stay abreast of this regional marketplace. SAX currently sells 250 million pieces every year.
Premium quality brand Grandluxe, all the way from Singapore will showcase again its diaries, calendars, leather accessories and stationery products, which are available in a variety of languages, including English, Arabic, Chinese and Spanish.
German manufacturers Olympia (machines and office equipment) and Dokumental (ink), Multichem from the UK, as well as major paper manufacturer Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) are also returning once again for the 2012 edition.
New in the market is nu:co, who have set up base in both the UK as well as Hong Kong.
As well as First Kid and Dubai Library Distributors exhibiting in the Back-to-School category range, other local players joining once more for Paperworld Middle East in Dubai include Farook International Stationery, who boasts 3 manufacturing plants in the UAE and exports a wide variety of stationery products to over 80 countries; Al-Gurg Stationery who is the leading local distributor of world renowned brands such as Edding, Nightingale and 3M; Al-Dana Décor, supplier of book binding materials; and Capital Envelopes, manufacturer of over 1 billion envelopes per year in Dubai.
India will once again feature a strong participation with 14 companies already confirmed, including India's largest chain of greeting and gifting stores Archies, who is returning for the second year running, as well as school stationery manufacturer Hindustan Pencils, known for their Nataraj brand which is currently producing 6.4 million pencils daily and 2.3 million erasers.
 The world's leading fair for paper, office supplies and stationery products is enjoying successful geographical expansion. The Middle East edition, which recently launched in Dubai, enjoyed much success and is building up for a bigger and better show in March 2012.
