Six killed as cars collide

According to an embassy official, the accident took place on
Wednesday evening at Khamis Mushayt.
The victims were identified as Abu Sayeed Abdul Jabbar,
Kamruzzaman Abdul Munshi and Noor Mohammad Abdus Sobhan from Chakoria in Cox's
Bazar and Mohamed Hasan from Dhaka.
The official said the accident happened when the car
carrying the four Bangladeshis, in trying to evade a camel crossing the road,
collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction. The two
Saudis were in that vehicle.
The bodies have been kept at a mortuary of a government
hospital located near Abha, the diplomat said, adding that Bangladesh consulate
in Jeddah has been contacting their relatives and the employers to send the
bodies back home and work out the necessary compensation.
