Regus hit the historic milestone with new customer innovative database solutions (IDS).
The start-up has taken a flexible workplace at Regus’ The Point of Inverness business center in Denver, US, one of the company’s 1,200 locations worldwide.
“I’m delighted Regus has reached this key milestone in our journey to enable companies to work smarter and more productively. IDS is typical of the many small businesses that use us to achieve a speedy, cost-effective start-up and to expand when they’re ready,” said Mark Dixon, CEO of Regus.
“This historic moment shows how the flexible work revolution is fast becoming business as usual. Today, more than one billion people globally work on the move and alternative ways of working in all kinds of business continues its inexorable rise.”
Regus plans to add hundreds of new locations to its network by December 2012 — indicating the demand it’s seeing for its flexible work products that allow people to work anytime, anywhere. In Saudi Arabia, enquiries have risen 107 percent in 12 months.
IDS President Justin Hamilton is already considering expansion with Regus: “One reason I chose Regus is its additional locations in cities around the country. When I need to work outside Denver I can drop in to the nearest center. Establishing a presence in another city is as easy as ordering a cup of coffee.”
Hamilton will be able to explore new markets at home or overseas at any Regus location using the free Regus Virtual Office he received for being its millionth customer.
“Flexible working is a win-win for every business,” added Dixon.
“It makes it easier for new businesses, like IDS, to start up, while established companies are going flexible to improve employee productivity and reduce overheads. Together with improved work-life balance, it’s easy to see why the flexible working phenomenon is going from strength to strength.”
