Bakhsh along with other senior members of the community will continue to guide the forum in carrying out its various activities. Established in 2005 by well-meaning Indian expatriates, the forum's singular aim is to forge a strong and vibrant community of Indian expatriates. The IFJ has consistently highlighted and promoted educational, cultural, social and business aspirations of the large Indian community in Jubail.
Along with Shaikh, a new team was also elected; it includes Shameer Ahmed (vice president administration),  Mohammed Shibli (vice president  operations), Aziz Siddiqui (vice president public relations), Azhar Alam Khan (general secretary), Pascal D’Souza (joint secretary) and Mohammed Khursheed Anwar (treasurer).
The list of executive members includes Mohammad Zubair Khan, Ramakant Bhala, Malik Sayeed, Sayed Anwar Moinuddin, Jayanarayanan Prabhakaran, Dasari Bhikshapathy, S.K. Subramaniam, Jagdishan Ramesh, P.P. Antony and Ashraf Abdul Rahiman.
“IFJ functions as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the cause of development of all sections of the Indian community in Jubail,” said Anis Bakhsh.
As the biggest industrial city in the Kingdom, Jubail boasts a large concentration of Indian professionals, as well as skilled and semiskilled expatriates. Cutting across the boundaries created by language and regionalism, the IFJ has brought together Indians in Jubail within a common platform to interact and find solutions to the various problems facing the city’s subcontinent community.
