Arar is located near the Kingdom’s border with Iraq, and is about 1,000 km from Dammam.
Al-Bandar Group Eastern Region Chief Operating Officer T.S. Vedapuri and DGM (Administration) Abdul Rahman Al-Dossary inaugurated the store in the distinguished presence of well-known businessman from Rafha, Yassin Al-Allawi, and other high-profile dignitaries.
The Arar store offers a complete range of men’s wear, ladies’ wear, children’s wear, footwear, toys, accessories and cosmetics.
Vedapuri said: “Our retail footprint has become stronger and wider over the years. Our store in Arar is the first one of its kind in the city and has 23,000 sq. ft. retail area. The people of Arar are very excited with the opening of our store in their city. And their excitement is pretty evident from their overwhelming response.”
According to Vedapuri, it is a conscious decision taken by the management to have the ease of shopping for the valued customers of Citymax in their own town instead of them traveling long distances for their shopping needs.
The group has been making giant strides in the Eastern Province under Vedapuri’s stewardship.
Recalling the statement of Citymax CEO H. Ramanathan, Vedapuri reiterated that “we strive to bring to you the most dynamic offering of value, fashion and merchandize designed in-house and manufactured to stringent standards, while our fashion collections reflect the latest international trends.”
Launched in the UAE in May 2004, Citymax is today the largest value fashion retail chain in the Middle East. It caters to the mid-market section of the population and provides a great shopping experience at affordable price, symbolized by its catchline, “More Fashion, More Value.”
