Al-Jazirah, TVTC sign MoU to train 500 Saudis

Under the MoU, Al-Aqla said, Al-Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Company will hire 500 graduate trainees from TVTC to work in the field of automobile maintenance field. The young trainees will be hired on the basis of “on the job training” at the company’s facilities in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, he said.
The program is part of an ambitious public-private partnership plan to reduce dependence on foreign workers by enabling young Saudis to take up challenging careers in the local employment market.  
Speaking on the occasion, Alkredes expressed happiness over his company’s cooperation with TVTC in boosting Saudization drive. “TVTC’s role in enabling Saudi manpower to take up jobs in the Kingdom’s employment market is commendable. During the training period, the trainees will get a monthly stipend of SR1,500 in addition to other benefits, including health insurance.
It is noteworthy that TVTC and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors (MYNM) signed a similar MoU on Tuesday to train 400 young Saudis for jobs in automobile sector. On completion of the training, the MYNM, which has a nationwide network of sales and after-sales facilities for Hyundai cars, will provide employment to the Saudi graduates also.
