Labor Minister Adel Fakeih opened the event, held in association with the Human Resources Development Fund.
“We are a keen supporter of national job fairs such as Liqa’at since they provide a unique opportunity for us to meet and recruit promising young Saudi talents,” said Thamer Al Harthi, chief HR officer of Bupa Arabia.
“We have now reached a Saudization level of 52 percent and to further enhance job nationalization within the organization this year we are offering more jobs in various departments. Moreover, Bupa Arabia is an award-winning company for the best working environment.”
The event acts as an exchange platform that connects job seekers with organizations through interviews and job matching.
This year’s event featured more than 60 leading Saudi companies offering a total of 5,000 jobs and attracted more than 2,400 visitors on the first day including a record number of Saudi nationals seeking employment with Bupa Arabia.
