It seems that after rendering the Middle East weak and unstable, the United States is all set to wreak havoc on Asia. That was how, it all started in the Middle East a few decades ago. The US first forged a friendly and strategic alliance with the regional powers and continued to use them to counter former Soviet Union’s global ambitions. After the fall of the USSR, the US started to act like a bully in the region. After ruining countries like Iraq and Syria and setting the region on fire, it announced a gradual withdrawal from the region. Now in order to check China’s growing influence, it is eyeing Asia. — T.
