RIYADH: The Riyadh Enforcement Court has ordered a Saudi man to repay SR87.2 million to a real estate company for selling a plot of land which had a defect in the selling process, according to a ruling by the court. The court said it has implemented the decision, No. 34, after verifying the indictment and the ruling deed, adding that the requestor of enforcement order (plaintiff) did not know the address of the one who was ordered to pay (defendant).
Accordingly, the court asked the plaintiff to visit the court after 20 days of the issuance of the decision No. 34 (order of enforcement).
The court said the requestor of the enforcement order announced it in a newspaper and handed over a copy of the newspaper to the court and, accordingly, it issued decision No. 46 the same day it received the copy of the newspaper.
The court said it conducted research on the defendant through his ID, and found that he had a series of claims against him, some in general courts and others at enforcement courts, which were considered evidence of defaulting, which necessitated the issuance of an imprisonment order against him on the same day, the court said.
