RIYADH: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani ordered the opening of women’s sections at all notaries public in the Kingdom and preparing special places for female litigants to safeguard their privacy.
He has asked that cadres of women be swiftly trained to work in women’s sections in notaries public, so that they can provide services to women.
The Ministry of Justice has a strategy to provide judicial services by modernizing women’s sections at its judicial facilities, where privacy is fully protected while completing their work.
Through these women’s sections at notaries public, the ministry wants to provide all basic services and guidance, create awareness about various agencies and the required measures, as well as about dealing with issues of divorce, separation, financial rights and duties.
The Ministry of Justice has said that the first phase of the plan is to open a number of women’s sections in notaries public in Riyadh, in cooperation with the Muwaddah Charity Association.
Other women’s sections will be opened in various regions of the Kingdom after this, after a study is carried out by the ministry.
The ministry has already opened women sections in the Civil Status Courts in the Kingdom in cooperation with the Muwaddah Charity Association as part of the ministry’s project to cooperate with the non-profit sector in the service of people.
