RIYADH: Saudi students aiming to pursue careers in the tourism and architecture were provided onsite training in heritage building restoration by the National Urban Heritage Center (NUHC), an affiliate of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH).
“Under the supervision of center, 99 students from the College of Tourism and Antiquities and the College of Architecture and Planning received onsite training in historic Al-Diriyah area in the capital,” an SCTNH official said Thursday.
The vocational training is part of an initiative that comes under the guidance of SCTNH President Prince Sultan bin Salman to train and prepare national cadres in the development of tourism and national heritage in the Kingdom.
