Samsung Electronics introduced its all new Samsung Galaxy Note7 at an event in Jeddah, in the presence of top Samsung management, Samsung partners in Saudi Arabia, various VIP dignitaries and members of the press.
The water-resistant device with the new S-pen that gives the smartphone several features was demonstrated.
KeeWon Park, GM at Samsung Electronics in Saudi Arabia, said: “The New Galaxy Note7 merges the fundamentals of tradition with the spectacular effectiveness and efficiency of technology to offer our customers an integrated device that caters to all their everyday mobile needs. We firmly believe that the new enhanced S-pen, an important tool that has been evolving for several years, is developed today to cater to Arabic-speaking and writing users more than ever.”
He added: “The improved Note7 S Pen is more than just a writing tool – it is the doorway to getting more completed competently and precisely,” he added.
With a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and HDR video streaming capability, Note7 enables a cinema-like experience with vivid color contrast including brighter colors and a deeper black. In partnership with Amazon, Note7 users will be available to enjoy free HDR video content from Amazon Prime Video for 90 days. Note7 also features Game Pack.
With the power of the new Gear VR and Gear 360, Note7 opens the door for consumers to enjoy more immersive experiences. The new Gear VR for Note7 supports USB Type-C and Micro USB port connection and will be offered in a blue black color.
Gear 360 gives users the ability to create their own 360-degree videos that can be watched with Gear VR or easily shared through various social media channels including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Google Street View. In addition, users can view Gear 360 content through partnerships with media platforms such as Reuters and Euronews.
