Hrithik rubbishes ‘Aashiqui 3’ rumors

MUMBAI: BTown’s heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor were seen together for the first time on the silver screen in the music video ‘Dheere Dheere’ and the couple mesmerized audiences with their sizzling chemistry.
After crossing million of hits on Honey Singh’s revamped version of Aashiqui hit ‘Dheere Dheere’, there were rife speculations that they will next be a part of the third outing of Aashiqui franchise. The actor once said, “I like to work with Sonam. I think we should do a film together.” The fashionista had also responded to Hrithik’s praise by stating, “I would also love to work with him in a feature film.”
‘Aashiqui 3’ will be directed by Amit Sharma, who had also directed ‘Tevar’ for producer Boney Kapoor. He has also directed the recently-released music video Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, featuring Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta. As per rumor mills, T-series always wanted sultry beauty Kangana Ranaut as the leading actress for the film, however, it was said that Hrithik was not comfortable shooting with Kangana due to their alleged secret love affair.
So, the question of Kangana doing ‘Aashiqui 3’ never took off. Now, after much disagreement and speculations, it is being reported that the bubbly Alia Bhatt has been roped-in for ‘Aashiqui 3.’ Alia and Hrithik would make a fresh pair which would be interesting for the audience to watch on the silver screen.
However, it seems that is not true. “There’s no ‘Aashiqui 3’. I don’t know who all writes this.” quipped Hrithik putting an end over all the rumors.
