The Pakistani Embassy organized recently a cultural evening as part of its efforts to introduce various facets of Pakistani culture. Ustad Salamat Hussain, a bansuri nawaz (flute player) and Ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan, a sarangi player, wowed the community. Both artists also gave renditions of South Asian classical music. Local artist William Paul also presented his ghazals, while tabla (drum) player Shahid Anjum received applause for his performance. Pakistan’s Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan said the embassy would organize a number of cultural events in the coming months to showcase different aspects of the Pakistani cultural scene in the Kingdom
