The Philippine Nurses Association in the Eastern Region in Saudi Arabia (PNA-ERSA) headed by Mary Jane Tupas called on Saleh Al-Salhi, director general for health affairs in the Eastern Province, to give a certificate of recognition for his support to PNA projects on Monday.
“We gave him the certificate of recognition for his support to PNA-ERSA projects that have to do with the welfare of Filipino nurses,” said Mary Jane Tupas, PNA-ERSA president and a Bagong Bayani Awardee.
Tupas was accompanied by Labor Attaché Adam A. Musa of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in the Eastern Region Office (POLO-ERO), and Arlene Navarro, a PNA-ERSA vice president for internal affairs.
This was the second time that PNA-ERSA and Musa paid a visit to Al-Salhi.
The first time was in July when Al-Salhi was invited to be a keynote speaker during the group’s convention.
Tupas, who is the nursing director at Mohd. Dossary General Hospital in Alkhobar, said that during the visit she discussed with Al-Salhi the services PNA-ERSA has rendered to Filipino nurses.
