Porsche Centers Saudi Arabia, SAMACO Automotive, the sole distributors of Porsche cars in Saudi Arabia, recently held Porsche Test Run events in Jeddah and Riyadh, offering a selected group of enthusiasts the ultimate driving experience. In Jeddah, the local Porsche team prepared a special track set-up at the Jeddah Historical Gate for almost 100 guests while in Riyadh the professional race circuit at Reem offered a fantastic location for 80 invitees. Driving experts and trainers from Porsche Saudi Arabia supervised the test-drive session and demonstrated various driving methods on the track.
During the course of this one-day event, participants went through a special training on how to handle Porsche vehicles in dangerous situations caused by unforeseen circumstances. Practical demonstrations included safety instructions for various driving conditions, such as sudden stops on slippery road surface and maintaining the car’s balance in sharp bends. Invited guests gained a thorough knowledge about the performance and safety features of Porsche cars. They could choose from a variety of models, including the new generation 911 Carrera S, Panamera Turbo and Cayenne S.
