A total of 3,800 citizens will benefit from the first phase of a land distribution scheme launched yesterday by Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman.
The launch ceremony took place during the governor’s visit to the mayoralty, where he was received by Mayor Dr. Khaled Taher and senior officials.
Prince Faisal also launched an electronic system to monitor markets, health services and construction works.
Taher presented a report to the governor on the mayoralty’s performance in 2012 and another report related to the recommendations of the Urban Environment Conference.
In a statement, Taher said Prince Faisal was briefed on the mayoralty’s projects and services for citizens. He emphasized the mayoralty's commitment to provide quality services for everyone living in the city.
