Saudi Arabia’s current e-Government program, Yesser, includes 30 initiatives to be executed in the first two years of the Second National Action Plan.
With their own plan and budget, each initiative has a special implication for the Saudi Arabian ICT authorities.
The specifics of the initiatives will be explored during the third Annual Kingdom e-Government Summit which will feature a keynote address from Suhail Al-Almaee, director of the Strategic Planning and Support Initiatives of Yesser.
Held on September 25 and 26 in Riyadh, the summit is organized and hosted by French business information group naseba.
Solution providers in attendance include InfoWatch, Matco and EMC2.
The two days will consist of a variety of strategic keynote addresses, workshops and panel discussions featuring Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Mulhem, assistant deputy minister for planning and CIO of Ministry of Culture and Information, Blaž Golob, founding director for the Center for e-Governance Development for South East Europe and Dr. Yousef Alohali, associate professor and former dean of e-transactions and communications, King Saud University.
“Yesser’s participation means the summit is a perfect platform for the implementation of the Second National e-Government Action Plan. It is bringing together decisions makers from government agencies and international solution providers to implement Yesser‘s e-Government vision and strategic action plan for government agencies and its sectors,” said Fabien Faure, naseba’s managing director.
naseba produces, promotes and hosts business summits, professional training courses and business exhibitions targeting executive level attendees across multiple industries.
