This refers to the report “Key posting at Marafiq” (March 11). It is nice to read that Saeed K. Al-Abdullah has been promoted to manager, public relations and communications department, at the Power & Water Utility Co. for Jubail and Yanbu.
Marafiq is one of the big names in the industrial corporation. I think, for any company to progress, it should concentrate on safety measures and procedures extensively. It must see that safety policies are implemented at all levels.
As human life is precious, more and more concentration should be on safety aspects. If workers are having safety and security at all levels, they will work extensively making a greater contribution in the production of the company.
It is commonplace to know that mishaps are occurring on daily basis mainly due to lack of safety measures at workplaces. So, drastic measures should be adopted to bolster workers security, which will lead to rise in production automatically.
