Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal yesterday approved the plan to establish a branch office of the ministry in Madinah. “It has been approved in the budget of the current fiscal year,” an official statement said.
The move comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to facilitate its services being rendered to citizens and expatriates in the region.
Madinah Gov. Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman for the gesture, saying it reflects the government’s efforts to improve services to citizens all over the country.
“Citizens are the focus of the Kingdom’s five year development plans and for them the government officials are working,” said the governor.
