MINA: Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah said yesterday that all cases treated in the medical facilities in holy cities at this year’s Haj either chronic or simple cases.
Al-Rabeeah was inspecting the health facilities in holy sites in Makkah .
“I praise the integration and solidarity between all departments namely the ministries of defense, interiors, health and the Red Crescent,” he said.
He said all are working in one system and that he was happy to see everybody well prepared with specialized manpower.
“I think this year’s Haj is unique in all aspects especially the health care,” he told Arab News.
He visited all health care departments in Mina including the emergency hospital, security forces hospital, National Guard medical center and finally the Mina Aljessr hospital.
The minister said all health services are provided for every patient.
“We treat patients and we don’t look for permits while treating them. If a patient comes to us, we are happy to provide the best health care,” said Al-Rabeeah.
Al-Rabeeah launched the new Red Crescent fleet in Al-Muesim near Mina.
There are four hospitals in Arafat, and 46 medical centers supporting them with 700 emergency and medical personnel.
The total number of hospitals in holy sites is eight distributed in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah.
