Indian Embassy to hold Open House for workers

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh will hold an "Open House" for the members of the Indian community residing in the Kingdom on Thursday (March 14). During the open house, workers will have the opportunity to meet Hamid Ali Rao, Indian ambassador, and other senior officers of the embassy, to discuss and seek solutions to their problems.
“All consular problems, labor-related issues or other grievances of the workers will be heard by the embassy officials during the open session,” said Surinder Bhagat, a spokesman of the Indian Embassy, here yesterday. He pointed out embassy officials, including the ambassador, will welcome the workers from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday.
Those who need to sort out their issues with their sponsors or workers whose cases are pending with local Saudi authorities will also be taken up by senior embassy officials. “All interested members of the community are invited to attend the open house at the embassy premises,” said Bhagat. The Open House is an initiative of Ambassador Rao.
