King Salman, French premier review ties

RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman reviewed French ties and ways of enhancing them in various fields during his talks with French Prime Minister Manuel Valls at his palace in Riyadh on Tuesday. They discussed the latest developments in the region.
Valls, who wrapped up a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, was leading a large delegation to the Second Saudi-French Business Opportunities Forum which concluded on Tuesday.
The king welcomed the premier to the Kingdom. Valls expressed happiness at being in the Kingdom and meeting the king and conveyed the greetings of French President Francois Hollande to King Salman.
The talks were attended, among others, by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar, National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah and Minister of State Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.
The king also hosted a luncheon in honor of Valls at his palace in Riyadh.
On the French side, it was attended by Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and a number of ministers and officials.
