The Consulate General of Pakistan has started manual extension of Machine Readable Passports to facilitate all those expatriate Pakistanis who have applied for renewal of their passports but the delivery has been delayed. They can now get extension of their MRPs manually. This extension will be valid for one year.
The Consulate General has started this facility to ensure welfare of those Pakistanis who need only MRP for travel or other official departments in Saudi Arabia.
