The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute of Haj Research (CTHMIHR) at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah shall organize the 13th Scientific Forum for Hajj Research next February with the cooperation of specialists, officials and workers in the field of Hajj and Umrah. They will share a summary of their research, studies and proposals. This is in order to facilitate the exchange of views and to take advantage of the latest global technology and scientific developments toward the continuous development for the betterment of the service of pilgrims.
The dean of CTHMIHR, Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Rashad Srouji, told a local newspaper that the forum will discuss seven study themes: architectural and engineering, environmental studies and health, management and economic aspects, information technology, media studies (awareness, guidance), the geography and history of the holy city of Makkah, in addition to the Fiqh of Haj and Umrah.
