Despite being an expatriate, I would like to see the Saudization program succeed because it will provide more stability in this country. Besides it is better to contribute toward progress of a country and earn money and experience, rather than stay in a place on a dole.
What I have observed about Saudi work culture is that most of the Saudis consider work as a necessary evil. It is not that they are behaving badly but their work culture needs much to be desired. I feel that work is not an evil and is not something that you have to endure before you get your salary.
It is an engine of progress and it also brings about self-realization and self-actualization in a person. It is only because of hard work of previous generations that we are able to enjoy a modern life of comfort and luxury and we must thank Allah Almighty for that. — Dr. Shabbir M. Thingna, Bisha
