Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) organized a training program for more than 500 employees to improve their IT skills.
On completion of the program, the employees were presented with the Cambridge International Certificate in Information Technology (IT). The training courses were held at five centers of Al-Faya Est. in Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu, Jubail and Shuqaiq.
Motlaq Al-Rasheedi, training coordinator at SWCC, said the program was conducted as part of the corporation's plan to provide training to the entire staff in order to improve their professional competence in both office work and acquisition of technical skills. The certificate, which is considered as an international criterion for measuring the skills of using computers, has acquired the international accreditation and the acknowledgement of several international governments and institutions.
The Ministry of Civil Service and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) have accredited it, as the certificate gives the officials trust in that the trainees mastered the required skills.
Trainees of this program can obtain an accredited, authenticated, and locally and globally acknowledged certificate in the field of computer usage after completion of the three-month program.
