Higher Education Minister Khaled Al-Anqari yesterday signed six contracts worth more than SR 625.63 million to carry out a number of university campus and service projects. They include a SR 169.79 million project to equip a dental hospital at King Saud University and construction of a building for preparatory classes in the Al-Jouf University campus at a cost of SR 130 million.
The third project is worth SR 98.29 million to establish a public parking area at Majmaa University. The remaining projects are for Shaqra University (SR 59.54 million), Tabuk University (SR 59 million) and for establishing a college of nursing at Jazan University (SR 108.9 million).
He said his ministry had signed contracts worth more than SR 4 billion for various university campus projects. “They aim to provide the best possible academic atmosphere for students,” he added.
