Sri Lankan cultural event marked

The Sri Lankan Expatriate Society Jeddah organized a cultural event at the premises of the Sri Lankan Consulate in Jeddah recently under the patronage of Sri Lankan Consul General Dr. Adambawa Uthumalebbe with the participation of community members.
Guest of honor Uthumalebbe expressed his warmest gratitude and appreciation to the society’s President Dr. H.M. Rafeek for organizing the colorful event that featured songs, national dances and plays for the community in the western region.
He added it was a great occasion to help maintain unity among Sri Lankan nationals irrespective of background, creed or religion.
Uthumalebbe congratulated the society on the successful conclusion of the event requested them to hold such important festivals in the future on behalf of the community and Sri Lanka.
