STC sponsors Technology and Career Day in EP

Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) is the sponsor of the Third Technology and Career Day event that will be held at Al Saif Hall in Alkhobar as part of its support for Saudization.
Eastern Province Gov. Prince Mohammed bin Fahd will open the Career Day Event on Sunday (May 20).
STC will participate with a specialized pavilion in which it will showcase its services targeting university students and other young Saudis. STC will also offer some career opportunities vacant for talented graduates in specialties such as engineering, electrical, communications, computers, marketing, as well as provide some training courses offered to students of telecommunications and IT. STC will focus on its student communication program for graduate students who can apply through its website and desire to fill the company's vacant positions.
STC recently took part in the 29th Career Day, which was organized by King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in the Eastern Province, attended by Eastern Province Deputy Gov. Prince Jlawi bin Abdul Aziz bin Msaed Al-Saud, which was aimed at highlighting its role in Saudi youth employment and training.
The company had hired and trained a group of technical college graduates in disciplines appropriate to the labor market in telecommunications sector, companies, and establishments across the Kingdom.
The percentage of Saudis at STC is more than 91 percent, and has already obtained "Prince Naif Saudization Prize" and was also honored with a prize by the GCC labor ministers for its effective role in this area.
STC also participated as technical sponsor of "SciTech" exhibition held in the Eastern Province, where it highlighted its most outstanding technical competencies.
