With the cold weather settling down in earnest, a group of students of Princess Noura University have launched a humanitarian initiative with the slogan “Give me warmth.”
The initiative involves providing a suitcase with winter clothes to be distributed to cleaners in Riyadh by children who are relatives of the students.
Supervisor of the campaign Abeer Saleh said this initiative was just an extension of the university’s efforts in the field of humanitarian and volunteer work. “Winter started very cold this year, and those are our brothers in humanity. They are very poor and badly in need of some clothes to warm them up.”
Princess Noura University organizes several campaigns throughout the year, besides seminars, forums and awareness workshops on all aspects of life in the framework of community service.
The winter clothes campaign will last for a week.
