Tismo powers D’ Pirates to a double in IBG Friday Bowling League

Red-hot Andro Tismo powered D’ Pirates to a Best Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week double with a remarkable performance during the 19th session in the Itqan Bowlers Group (IBG) Friday Bowling League 2nd Conference.
Hala Int’l. Mabuhay Mobily in partnership with Globe sponsored the tournament organized by the IBG Advocates at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
Scratch bowler Tismo shot a towering four game series of 988 ( 256, 242, 234 and 256) to capture the individual award and help D’ Pirates whipped Roll and Bowl 25-12 en route to the team accolade.
Backing up Tismo at D’Pirates were Johnny Pencilla (910), Celis Viloria (842) and Bembol Velasco (807). Likewise, the duo of Fareed Aquino and Dennis Gabriel contributed separate series of 371 and 337.
The result left D’Pirates still at No. 1 in the team standings.
At the helm of Roll and Bowl were Archie Oliva and Andy Carasig who submitted rounds of 827 and 825, respectively.
Pinbusters upset top favorite Air21 23-15 thanks to Fathi Abdulaziz (858), Boy Mirando (83) and Marvin Arocena (822). Fhel Ramos and Hani Al-Nasleh added 795 and 746.
Leading scorers at Air21 are Ruel Toledo (852), Jove Marano (846) and Jerry Austria (756). Shawn Rickett had 608 points.

Meanwhile, on Week 18, Itqan Tenpin Wizards and Ryan Inigo excelled to bag the Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week awards. On Week 17, Itqan Tenpin Wizards and Joe Garrido were the Best Team and Best Bowler of the Week awardees.
