Why not recognition from Pakistan for Malala

This refers to the news report, “Malala up for Nobel Peace Prize,” published in Arab News. (Feb. 2) I believe the nomination of Malala Yousafzai for Nobel Peace Prize is a timely decision. But again like as it always happens, the recognition is coming from a foreign country, instead of from the government of Pakistan, the country she belongs to.
Taleban have tried to silence the voice of sanity by targeting her and other students.
This is however her will power that she has survived. I strongly recommend to the Pakistan government and other countries especially the Muslim countries to support her nomination, because this way it would send a very strong message to the world that Muslims in general, and those in Pakistan in particular, are peace-loving and education oriented people.
It will also give the message that groups like Taleban are not the true face that represents Muslims or Pakistan.
Malala belongs to a nation called Pakistan which is the most suffered nation in the world. — M. Ajaz Shafi, Riyadh
