Romania’s National Day

On the 1st of December 2012 the Republic of Romania has celebrated its National Day, memorializing the unification of all historical provinces of Romania.
Romania’s National Day has been celebrated in several cities across the country through cultural and social events. In Bucharest, the country’s capital city, the events planned for the National Day have included military parades at the Arch of Triumph, in the presence of state officials.
Currently, the Romanian Community within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is comprised of 70 persons, while another 150 Romanian citizens are working through individual contracts, or contracts with foreign companies.
Foreign and economic relations between Romania and Saudi Arabia have always been under constant development and since the Romanian revolution of 1989, the two countries have routinely engaged in friendly diplomatic exchanges.
Commercial relations have become even closer in the last few years, with more tangible progress on trade and investment.

Further on, there is a huge potential to increase the bilateral trade between the two countries.
However, direct contacts between Saudi and Romanian business communities should be increased in order to sustain a healthy growth and development process.
Do not forget that Romania could be the easy way to bring your business into the European Union.
Be there!
