JEDDAH, 18 April  — Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday denounced Israel’s attack on the Syrian radar position in Lebanon on Monday. The crown prince expressed the Kingdom’s firm support for Syria during a telephone conversation with President Bashar Assad. The two leaders also discussed ways of boosting relations between their two countries.

In a separate call to President Emile Lahoud of Lebanon, Crown Prince Abdullah discussed the latest developments in the region and Israel’s “repressive and terrorist attacks on Lebanese territories.”
