MADINAH, 19 April — A Cessna crop-sprayer crashed yesterday while flying over Khalil agricultural area in the Madinah region. Its two occupants — pilot Fahd Al-Gifaidi, a Saudi, and co-pilot Ibrahim Hammad, Egyptian — were killed in the accident, said Director of Madinah Civil Defense Brig. Saleh Al-Muhawwas. The plane, which belonged to a company under contract with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, crashed in an unpopulated area. Madinah Governor Prince Muqrin has ordered an inquiry into the accident.
