JEDDAH, 19 April  — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd received here yesterday visiting Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. They discussed relations between the two countries and ways of improving them. They also discussed Arab, Islamic and international issues.

Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, also received Hariri. The two leaders discussed the situation in the Middle East, particularly on the Palestinian front.

Meanwhile, the crown prince received telephone calls from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh. They discussed the latest developments in the region following the Israeli aggression.

In a related development,  King Fahd has ordered financial assistance to several Islamic institutions in Asia, Africa, America and Europe. The SR1.9 million aid is for supporting Islamic education and propagation in these regions, Saleh Al-Aaed, secretary-general of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs, said yesterday.
