JEDDAH, 2 April — Russia has formally expressed its appreciation and thanks to the Saudi government for its successful handling of the hijack of a Russian aircraft to Madinah recently. Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom Andre Beklanov handed a letter of appreciation to Interior Minister Prince Naif yesterday.
