JEDDAH, 3 April — The Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND) has invited nominations for its International Prize for Pioneering Development Projects. Nominations are invited in projects in three categories — application of information technology in the fields of education and health, reserved for projects implemented by the United Nations and international and regional organizations; provision of micro-credits through non-governmental organizations, reserved for projects implemented by NGOs; and reinforcement of voluntary work in the community, reserved for projects implemented by individuals. The nominations should reach AGFUND office in Riyadh not later than June 30, a statement from the agency said. (AN)
