JEDDAH, 24 April — Saudi Arabia blasted Israel yesterday for attacking the Palestinian people and reiterated its call for the international community to intervene immediately to stop the savage Israeli attacks.

“The Cabinet renewed the Saudi Arabian government’s and people’s condemnation of the Israeli aggression, terrorism and oppression against innocent Palestinians,” Information Minister Fuad Al-Farsi said.

“We urge all peace-loving countries to step up efforts to halt Israeli aggression which has defied the will of the international community and violated the simplest of human rights,” Al-Farsi said in a statement issued after the weekly Cabinet meeting chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd at Al-Salam Palace yesterday.
