DAMMAM, 29 April — A Czech trade delegation began a visit to the Kingdom yesterday for talks with Saudi businessmen on investment, trade and economic cooperation. The delegation comprises representatives of 15 companies functioning in fields of transportation, communications, food, car industry, agriculture and electricity. Sulaiman Al-Suhaimi, deputy chairman of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, called on the Czech businessmen to seize investment opportunities in the Kingdom to increase trade exchange.

He said the Saudi-Czech economic ties were growing. Bilateral trade jumped from $80 million in 1997 to over $155 million last year.
