JEDDAH, 1 May — The Andhra Pradesh non-resident Indians’ Association (APNRI’s Association) has welcomed Air-India’s decision to operate nonstop flights to Hyderabad from May 16. “We express our gratitude to the national carrier for accepting our demand and are grateful to Civil Aviation Ministry for granting us a direct flight every week to the state capital,” M.A. Majeed, president of the association, said. “Our repeated representations to the authorities for a nonstop flight from Jeddah to Hyderabad finally paid off,” he said.
