JEDDAH, 4 May — The Education Department in the Jeddah governorate has warned 44 private schools of closure if they continue to violate regulations pertaining to building specifications and services offered to the students. Suleiman Al-Zayedi, director general of education in the Makkah region, said 14 schools would be closed for violating various regulations, Al-Madinah newspaper said yesterday.
